In the morning, we went to The Biscuiterie Rault.
The famous manioc biscuit is made there.
The first biscuit was manufactured by Hilarious Rault in 1manioc plants 1870.
Lots of manioc plants grow all around the factory.
We saw a well. It is 18 metres deep.
This is how the biscuit is made:
-         Weighing
-         Cleaning and peeling
-         Drying and refining
-         Cooking
-         Packing
We tasted the biscuits. Yummy! Yummy!

In the afternoon, we went to Ile Aux Aigrettes in a speed boat.
This island is a nature reserve where endemic animals and plants are protected.
We saw skinks (big lizards), fruit bats and tortoises.
A baby tortoise was found and taken to a safe place.
We came across some endemic plants: the blue lattan, bois d’olive, bois de rat and the ebony.
We also saw some extinct animals in the museum: the dodo, the billed parrot, the giant gecko, the blue pigeon and the red rail.
